Kim Kardashian shares dress fitting throwbacks from her 2014 wedding to Kanye West
Kim Kardashian celebrated designer (and good friend) Riccardo Tisci’s birthday with a few throwback photos from her wedding dress fitting in 2014.
The reality TV star posted several snaps (including one she had previously shared in 2014) to her Instagram story. In the photos, Kardashian can be seen trying on her custom made Givenchy gown and veil with the help of Tisci, who was the creative director for the French fashion house at the time.
Though Tisci has since been named the chief creative officer at Burberry, he and Kardashian have continued working together.

In fact, Kardashian has credited Tisci with being the first designer to dress her, having been introduced through then-boyfriend, Kanye West, in 2012.
“Riccardo is the first person in fashion to put me on a fashion magazine with Carine Roitfeld,” Kardashian said when she presented him with the 2019 Fashion Innovator Award from WSJ. “I am so excited to be here for someone who believed in me before I really knew what fashion was, and really even believed in myself.”
Kardashian’s wedding dress photos come amid speculation about her and West’s relationship following the rapper’s public breakdown, which began last month when he declared he would run for President.
After West held a campaign rally in South Carolina where he shared a series of bizarre and personal statements, Kardashian released a statement on Instagram defending her husband of six years.
Calling West, with whom she shares four children, “a brilliant but complicated person,” Kardashian spoke of the “incredibly complicated and painful” struggle West's bipolar disorder was for him and the entire family.
