How Kim Kardashian's Daughter North West Celebrated Her 7th Birthday: Fireworks and a Trip to Wyoming

From ELLE

North West turned seven years old yesterday, and Kim Kardashian marked the occasion in a very extravagant way, especially considering the U.S. remains in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner traveled out to Wyoming with their kids, where Kim's husband Kanye West has a ranch. North spent her day playing with her cousins there and spent part of her evening watching a big display of fireworks in her honor. They were Fourth of July worthy, really.

Kim and Kourtney shared photos (and videos) of the fireworks on their Instagram Stories.

Kim, meanwhile, posted a gushing birthday tribute to her daughter. "‪Happy 7th Birthday to my first born baby North!" Kim wrote. "I can’t believe you are 7. Crazy how time has flown by so fast like this! You are everything and more than I ever dreamed of! The most stylist creative Gemini performer ever! I love you to your alien planet and back! "

California remains under a stay-at-home order as it tries to contain coronavirus spread in the state. The state is only advising essential travel at this point, writing on its COVID-19 policy site, "You can travel for urgent matters or if such travel is essential to your permitted work. Even though businesses around the state are opening up, avoid traveling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Do not travel if you are sick, or if someone in your household has had coronavirus in the last two weeks. Do not travel with someone who is sick."

The Kardashian-Jenner family has largely ignored this protocol throughout the pandemic—to the anger of many fans. Kendall Jenner went on an over 7-hour road trip to Arizona in April with a friend she wasn't quarantining with to get "some much-needed air," according to TMZ. Kourtney chartered a private jet to go to a five-star resort Utah with Scott Disick and her family because she wanted "a change of scenery" during Memorial Day weekend, E! reported.

And Kylie most recently went out to a nightclub that was opened just for her and her friends in Los Angeles, and attended a birthday party with a large group of people where no one wore masks.
