The Kincardine hospital foundation board of directors is putting out the call for volunteers to assist with administering a major fundraising campaign that begins this fall.
The CT scan and redevelopment campaign kicks off in September, with a goal of fundraising $10 million to fund the expansion of the Kincardine hospital. The $10 million represents the community contribution needed to fund the ambitious project.
The hospital is on track and is currently moving through the application phases for the redevelopment.
Volunteer opportunities are available for a wide range of positions and may include canvassers, or those interested in sitting on committees. Positions may be available for volunteers for short term projects, those with limited time to share or residents who are available to make a long term commitment. Volunteers with varying backgrounds and expertise are all welcome.
“We all benefit from having a hospital close to home,” said Diane Baldwin, foundation coordinator. “If someone has time to give in our caring community, we’d love to hear from you. You CAN make a difference. If interested, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you!”
Interested residents are asked to contact the board by July 8.
