KMHC board elections to be held this afternoon

Two candidates will be vying for one seat when the Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre will hold and election for its Board of Directors today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the hospital.

Incumbent Clinton Phillips will be challenged by Karonhiio Curotte for the three-year term as community representative on the board.

The new community representative’s term will begin November 21.

Thoe wishing to vote must be 21 years or over and appear on the Kahnawake Kanien’keha:ka Registry. Any questions can be brought to Electoral Officer Louise Lahache at 450-638-3930 ext. 2203 or via email at louise.lahache @sss.gouv.qc.ca.

Ballots will be cast in the KMHC lobby.
