Rather than eat a cow's tongue, Kobe Bryant ranks himself as GOAT over MJ, LeBron

In late-night show land, one must be prepared for anything. Retired Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant saw that Tuesday night on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Corden engaged his guests, Bryant and Cara Delevingne, in a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” The contestants had to choose between answering a personal question posed by the guest to their left or eating a “stomach-turning delicacy” available to them on the round table.

The host did not disappoint, posing a difficult choice right off the bat. First up was the decision to put a cow tongue in front of the five-time NBA champion. The delicacy is consumed all over the world, especially in France, and was a part of American cookbooks up until a century ago.

Corden then posed the question.

“I would like you to rank these legendary basketball players from best to worst,” he said, leaving a pause for Bryant’s reaction as everyone knew what came next. “LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

Bryant at first chose to avoid the question, but upon some coaxing from Corden — and likely the smell off that cow tongue — he quickly summed up the debate.

“Fine. I’m the best, Michael’s second best, LeBron is third,” Bryant said.

The crowd began chanting MVP, which he won only once in the NBA. He’s third all-time in the NBA in scoring, directly ahead of James and Jordan.

Bryant ate a water scorpion on his next turn rather than share the person who has his phone number, but he wished didn’t have it. View the entire clip below:
