Kristaps Porzingis is even a unicorn on Halloween

Plenty of NBA players have gone all out with their Halloween costumes this year. We commend them for the time, effort and expense they put into celebrating this holiest of dress-up days.

We also, however, commend New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis for making minimal investments of time, effort and money, and still coming away from All Hallows’ Eve as a victor:

That’s right: pressed for a costume, the 7-foot-3 Latvian decided to just grab a unicorn mask and … go as himself!

Is it as in-depth, intricate and impressive as LeBron going full Pennywise, or Rudy Gobert painting his body gold? No. But it was way easier, it simultaneously bigs himself up by referencing the nickname Kevin Durant gave him and punctures some of the lofty talk that his early-season play has inspired, and it got a laugh. Pretty solid win all around, I’d say.

Hat-tip to Cassidy Hubbarth of ESPN.
