Kristin Cavallari’s Friendship With Kelly Henderson Ended Because of Jay Cutler Cheating Rumors
Kristin Cavallari detailed her falling out with Kelly Henderson on the Very Cavallari season 3 premiere.
Kristin and Kelly no longer talk because of cheating speculation surrounding Kelly, and Kristin’s husband, Jay Cutler.
It seems like Kristin Cavallari and her longtime best friend, Kelly Henderson, haven’t been on very good terms for a while now, if the season 3 premiere of Very Cavallari is any indication. If you, reader, were wondering why Kristin and Kelly don’t seem to be as close as they used to, then you have come to the right place!
Kristin revealed that she and Kelly haven’t talked in months, confirming a lot of fan suspicions of them no longer being BFFs.“The biggest change in my personal life is that my best friend Kelly and I haven’t talked in two months,” Kristin said in a confessional on last night’s episode, via People. “We’ve had a major falling out and it’s just been breaking my heart.”
A big part of the reason why Kristin and Kelly had a falling out in the first place is because of Kelly’s rumored affair with Kristin’s husband, Jay Cutler, and the way Kelly handled it. “When season 2 was airing, there was a lot of talk on social media about Jay and Kelly having an affair,” Kristin explained. “Not for one second have I ever thought that it was true. It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it.”
And to make matters worse, Kristin said that Kelly “kept talking about Jay on social media,” which was “adding fuel to the fire.” But even then, Kristin was still eager to try and work things out with Kelly because they have been friends for almost eight years.
“I kept trying to reach out to her and talk to her about it and tell her how I was feeling, and instead of her just owning her side of it and being like, ‘I’m sorry. Oh my god, that was never my intention,’ or whatever, she kept giving me pushback and would get really defensive,” Kristin added. “And then she literally just stopped responding to me. That, to me, is such a slap in the face. You don’t care? Good to know.”
The entire situation has now left Kristin almost regretting her move back into the reality TV space as she mourns the loss of the friendship. “[Reality TV] totally messes up friendship and I know that, that’s why I was nervous going into it,” Kristin said. “But I thought Kelly was the last person who would become affected. I’ve completely lost my friend.”

So...is there any hope Kristin and Kelly will sort out their issues in this season? “You’ll see it on the show. There’s definitely some sort of resolution there at the end that you’ll be able to see,” Kristin revealed on People's Reality Check.
