KY school official under investigation by police following anonymous tip
An Estill County Schools employee is under investigation by law enforcement after the district received an anonymous tip.
“We promptly passed that tip to law enforcement, and the employee will not have any interaction with students while their investigation is under way,” district officials said in a Facebook post.
Estill County Superintendent Charlie Brock said told the Herald-Leader Monday afternoon,”This is an ongoing investigation with law enforcement. We are cooperating with the investigation. We take student safety as our first priority, and the district will take appropriate action once the process is complete.”
Law enforcement officials did not immediately respond to questions from the Herald-Leader Monday seeking further elaboration or specific details.
