Kyiv mayor Klitschko's deputy investigated for corruption

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has conducted raids at the Kyiv City Hall and the residence of Kostyantyn Usov, the deputy to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Ukrainska Pravda reported on June 4, citing sources.

According to the report, the raids are connected to allegations that the official systematically received kickbacks and bribes from one of the city's mass transit operators.

Public broadcaster Suspilne also confirmed that the searches took place at the city administration, although they did not specify who was targeted.

Additionally, sources within law enforcement reported that the SBI was conducting the raids specifically at Usov's premises.
