Kylie Jenner Wore a Sleek Chin-Length Bob at Her Birthday Celebration

By now, it’s not surprising to see Kylie Jenner wearing a different hairstyle every day of the week. On any given Monday, she might be showing off highlighter-yellow hair, and the following day she might have cotton-candy-blue strands — the sky (and the rainbow) is the limit when you're Kylie Jenner.

Truth be told, it’s not very often that we see the beauty mogul with shorter hair, as she's known to favor long wigs and voluminous extensions. But this weekend, Jenner documented an early birthday celebration with friends while wearing a chic honey-blonde bob — and, not going to lie, it's kind of making us want to reach for the scissors ourselves.

In one video on her Instagram Stories, the Kylie Cosmetics founder can be seen blowing out the candles atop a blush-colored cake, with her dark golden hair (which could still be a wig) curled expertly under her chin. She paired the sophisticated hairstyle with an equally chic outfit: a black jacket tossed over a delicate bralette — no shirt required.

Jenner has been taking a break from hair dye and extensions in recent months, even giving fans rare peeks at her real hair from time to time. Back in early April, the reality star and makeup designer told her followers that she'd be embarking on a "hair health journey" amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. "This is such a good time to just take your hair out and your nails out, no lashes," she said on Instagram at the time.

As for the birthday girl, she turns 23 on August 10 — and if there's one thing we know about Kylie Jenner, it's that she goes all out for b-day bashes. We'll have to wait and see what else is in store for her big day, but we have a feeling there will be plenty of Instagrams along the way.
