Kylie Kelce Admits She 'Prefers to Be Behind the Scenes,' but Has 'Found a Way to Embrace' the Attention
Kylie Kelce opened up about the newfound attention she's received over the past two years on the first episode of her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast
While Kylie Kelce may have found a way to embrace the newfound attention on her life, she revealed that she'd much prefer to be out of the spotlight.
Kelce, 32, got candid about the attention she's received over the last two years on the first episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast on Dec. 5 and said that she likes living life "behind the scenes."
"I don't love to have attention on me," she explained. "I think it has something to do with the fact that I've always been very tall, and so I've always been trying to distract from [that and say] 'You don't need to stare at me.' "
Kelce also added that despite her discomfort with the attention, she's found a way to "turn it into a positive" to help "control the narrative" and "embrace it."
"I have increased visibility, which makes the things that I talk about have increased visibility," Kelce continued. "And if I can do things to impact field hockey, women's sports in general, and different philanthropic endeavors or charities I feel strongly about, then we can make this up. We can take a positive spin on this."

Kelce first made a huge impression on fans in her memorable cameo appearances on the New Heights podcast — hosted by her husband Jason and brother-in-law Travis — when she would poke fun at Jason or talk about their daughters Bennett, 1, Elliotte, 3, and Wyatt, 5.
Last month, the former athlete — who recently announced that she and her husband are expecting their fourth daughter — exclusively shared with PEOPLE that she would be starting the Not Gonna Lie podcast, planning to touch on gossip, hot topics, parenting, social media, women's representation in sports and more.
In a press release shared with PEOPLE, the Philidelphia native said that she is "excited to have conversations with fascinating people and create a platform where I can be unapologetically myself while also setting the record straight on the many stories that circulate about my family."
In the trailer for the new podcast, Kelce also teased what fans can expect on upcoming episodes and said she is "excited to be doing it with the help of some incredible guests that I have no business talking to."
"You guys said you wanted more Kylie," she continued. "And to that I say, f--- around and find out."
New episodes of the Not Gonna Lie podcast will drop weekly on Thursdays.
