La La Anthony Discusses Split From New York Knicks Star Carmelo Anthony
Power star La La Anthony stopped by Wendy Williams and discussed her recent separation from her husband, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony. The two split earlier this spring, with La La getting her own place in New York. But she has nothing bad to say about her husband.
“Him and I are the best of friends, and our No. 1 commitment is to our son, Kiyan. And we have to set an example to Kiyan. And that’s what’s most important to me. So I would absolutely never say a bad thing about my husband. That’s my son’s father, and he is an amazing dad. I could not ask for a better dad,” Anthony said.
She addressed the possibility of the two getting back together, saying that she doesn’t know what the future holds but they’re just trying to do the best they can to set a good example for their son.
Anthony also spoke to those pesky trade rumors that have been swirling around her husband for years now. “The most important thing with that is to stay close to Kiyan,” Anthony said. “That’s my priority. That’s his priority.”
