Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish to Perform on “One World: Together at Home” Global Citizen Concert

Make sure you save some room on the couch, because Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Lizzo are coming over for a concert event called “One World: Together at Home."

Live performances with big in-person audiences have been indefinitely placed on hold due to the spread of COVID-19. But while many are practicing social distancing, that doesn't mean the tunes have to stop, too.

Global Citizen has already been producing a series of at-home concerts featuring Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Lennon Stella, Lauren Jauregui, and more. Now, Global Citizen and the World Health Organization have teamed up for one epic night of musical performances, and a ticket isn't even required to enjoy.

On Saturday, April 18, the organizations will present One World: Together At Home, a worldwide special that will feature a star-studded cast of talent showing their support for healthcare workers. As Global Citizen explained in a statement, "It’s a historic, first-of-its kind global broadcast event to celebrate the heroic efforts of community health workers, and to support the World Health Organization in the global fight to end COVID-19. Viewers around the world can take action by visiting www.globalcitizen.org/togetherathome to call on corporations, governments, and philanthropists to fund critical global COVID-19 response efforts, including support for frontline healthcare workers."

Performances will get underway on Saturday, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. Viewers can watch the special on ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, iHeartMedia, and Bell Media networks and platforms in Canada. Internationally, BBC One will run the program on Sunday April 19, 2020.

For this special event, the Lady Gaga-curated artists and stars scheduled to appear include Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder. The event will also feature special appearances from healthcare workers who will share their experiences in fighting COVID-19.

Viewers will have to tune in to see how Lady Gaga and Lizzo bring their on-stage antics to life for a television audience, but with Mother Monster recently announcing additional details on her latest album, this is sure to be a memorable evening.
