Large $25,000 donation allows Tisdale to buy new ice resurfacer

With the help of a large donation, the Town of Tisdale bought a new ice resurfacer for the Tisdale RECplex.

The new unit cost close to $120,000. The Richardson Foundation donated $25,000 towards the new ice resurfacer. With the donation Richardson will install advertising decals on the top of the unit.

Lesley Thibault, Tisdale's recreation and parks director, said the old Zamboni was a 2012 model and Fermarc took the old one in on trade.

The presentation of this money was acknowledged publicly March 15 at the Senior Ramblers game. The Ramblers went on to beat the St. Brieux/Lake Lenore Rivals 6 – 3 that evening and ended the season with a 10-3-1 record.
