Power was restored to nearly all NB Power customers early Thursday following a massive outage. On Wednesday, nearly 50,000 customers were without electricity. The outage was caused by a tree falling on a transmission line, NB Power spokesperson Dominique Couture said in an email to CBC News. Two people were critically injured in a shooting at a cemetery in Richmond Hill, Ont. on Thursday afternoon, York Regional Police say. The shooting happened at 13010 Leslie Street, near the intersection of Leslie Street and Bethesda Side Road.
