Leaked footage shows UFOs flying around navy vessels

Leaked footage has revealed suspicious behaviour of unidentified flying objects hovering in air space above navy warships.

Alarming video and photos were captured by navy personnel off the coast of California, in the United States, and leaked to filmmaker Jeremy Corbell.

The suspicious activity had been gathered by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force, with Mr Corbell telling the New York Post he attained the information from a Pentagon intelligence briefing.

One video, taken in 2019, appeared to show pyramid-shaped flying objects above a navy warship, Mystery Wire reported.

Mr Corbell, who claimed to have verified the video's authenticity from the Pentagon, said the video was taken by navy officers on board the USS Russell.

The filmmaker said he learned of several other sightings from the briefing, including drone sightings on July 14 and 15 in 2019.

“And by the way, on the other ships, they had different things that happened. So some were just like lights that did figure-eights and patterns and 90 degree turns. Others were like a different colour light, like red,” he told Mystery Wire.

Sharing video and photos to his Instagram last week, Mr Corbell claimed those involved in the UAP Task Force had expressed the group's goal to "de-stigmatise the UAP problem and to promote more intelligence collection".

He added that the content he had accessed through the briefings was "some of the most intriguing military captured UAP footage I have ever seen".

The Pentagon itself has confirmed the legitimacy of the sightings, revealing they had formed part of an ongoing investigation from the UAP.

According to an announcement made last year, the UAP Task Force was designed to “improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs".

A report on the group's findings is expected to be released by June.
