At least one person killed in another Russian shelling of frontline Chasiv Yar

At least one person was killed in the morning Russian shelling of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast, public broadcaster Suspilne reported on March 10, citing the city’s military administration head, Serhiy Chaus.

"The situation in the city is consistently difficult. There are many attacks during the day," he said.

About 800 people currently remain in the frontline city, with more than 75% of people being of retirement age.

"We are distributing information leaflets, using video material, contacting relatives who have left, but unfortunately people are not ready to leave the city," he said.

According to the same day's report by the Regional Military Administration head, Vadym Filashkin, a series of Russian missile, drone and artillery strikes on Donetsk Oblast overnight killed three civilians and injured at least 11 others, including a teenager.
