Literary reading at Culture Club of Sherbrooke

·1 min read

The Journal's Alec Bruce was the featured guest at Culture Club of Sherbrooke’s literary event on July 23. Bruce was reading from his forthcoming memoir, Travels of a Rambling Homebody. The book, a collection of his new and recently published essays, on the meaning of home in an increasingly rootless world, is scheduled for publication in the spring 2023. The brainchild of German expat Meinhard Pfanner, Culture Club of Sherbrooke has hosted several arts, music and literary events—featuring the work of many well known and emerging artists, musicians, and writers from the Atlantic region and beyond—since its founding in January 2022.
