Little Mix are really, really busy at the moment. Not only do they have their very own singing competition on the go, but the band are also promoting a brand new single and their upcoming album, Confetti.

But while BBC One's The Search continues – as does Little Mix's 'Sweet Melody' campaign – Perrie Edwards is going through something else.

During a recent Twitter Q&A with fans, Perrie revealed that she's been suffering with a pretty serious injury for a while – and it's bothering her every time they perform.

"Are you still recovering from learning the choreo for the video and the performance on the search?" a fan asked, prompting Perrie to explain that she's actually been dealing with a "slipped disc" and "a tear" in the base of her spine. Ouch.

"SERIOUSLY! I recently found out I have a slipped disk & tear in the base of my back/spine and I die every time we dance," she replied. "But it's worth it."

Perrie, we salute you.

Perrie, along with bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, and her new fringe, are currently mentoring singers for Little Mix: The Search, a new reality series hoping to find the next big band.

The series' live shows had been due to begin earlier this month but were postponed after members of the show's production crew tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, the The Search is now back on track and bossing it.

Little Mix: The Search continues tomorrow (October 31) at 6.05pm on BBC One.
