A fire Wednesday morning in eastern P.E.I. forced a man and a woman out of their home, says the Red Cross.
The fire started about 4 a.m., and is believed to have originated in the basement.
The man and woman were not hurt in the fire, but it caused extensive damage.
The Red Cross is helping with lodging, clothing and food.
