Local communities seeing active virus cases still

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local health units continue to report new COVID-19 cases in Durham Region and Kawartha Lakes.

As of press time, according to the Durham Region Health Department, Brock Township has three active cases, all listed in home isolation. To date, Brock has had three deaths and 166 resolved cases.

Scugog and Uxbridge both have zero active cases of the virus. Since the start of the pandemic, Scugog has had 333 resolved cases and 17 deaths. Uxbridge has had 443 resolved cases and 26 deaths.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting Kawartha Lakes has 13 unresolved cases, 1,081 resolved cases and 58 deaths.
