Lofty ambitions: see inside Britain's best 'man cave'

A shrine to one fan’s love of his favourite football team has been named Britain’s best man cave. Father-of-two Graham Strachan spent six months and just £2,000 transforming his dusty, cluttered loft into the tribute to Aberdeen FC.

Thanks to the generosity and skills of his mates, Graham’s man cave in Brechin, Angus, has claimed the title of Games Room of the Year, in a competition run by Home Leisure Direct.

The room boasts a bar with beer on tap, two TVs, plush leather bench seats and a darts board. “I’m absolutely overwhelmed and still in shock,” said Graham.
