Look: Bear wanders into middle school cafeteria in Colorado
Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Authorities in Colorado said the back-to-school season is off to an unusual start after a bear found its way into a middle school cafeteria Monday morning.
The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office said on social media that deputies responded alongside the Aspen Police Department and Colorado Parks and Wildlife personnel when a black bear cub was found inside the cafeteria at the Aspen School District Middle School.
Students and teachers were evacuated into other buildings on campus while responders worked to clear the studious bear out of the school.
"The cub was relocated and all students were back to their regular Monday morning activities by 9:30," the Sheriff's Office said.
