Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Boston Animal Care and Control officials are trying to find the owner of a yellow python found slithering on the loose in a commercial area.

BACC said on social media that the young snake was found near a group of businesses on Washington Street in Brighton.

"Please contact us if this is your pet or you believe you know where this pet came from," the post said.

The snake, temporarily dubbed Bananza by BACC, is being cared for at the shelter for the time being.
