Lordstown Endurance Electric Work Truck - Everything You Need To Know

Here's everything you need to know about the Lordstown Endurance EV, an electric work truck from American EV startup Lordstown. In this video, I go over the exterior and interior design of the Endurance, and then I'll take a look at the performance specs and features. Finally, I'll give my opinion on whether or not the Lordstown Endurance will be a success. Thanks for watching! The Lordstown Endurance is a full size half ton pickup truck from American electric vehicle startup Lordstown, which is based in Ohio. The Endurance features a wheel hub motor design where there are four electric motors integrated into the wheels. This provides the electric truck with 440 horsepower and around 700-800 lb ft of torque. This means the Endurance has a towing capacity of 8,000 lbs. A 109kwh battery gives the Endurance about 200 miles of range per charge. Lordstown targets fleet sales and commercial buyers with the Endurance. This puts it in competition with the F-150 Lightning Pro and Chevy Silverado EV WT. With a starting price of $65,000 and a disappointing lack of features and capability, the Endurance faces an uphill battle. A partnership with Foxconn is Lordstown's last hope as it begins to deliver the first Endurance units.
