Unclaimed $1 million Lotto 6/49 prize still up for grabs
Check your lottery tickets! Time is running out for a $1 million lottery winner to claim their Lotto 6/49 Guaranteed Prize for a ticket purchased in British Columbia.
The ticket for the March 18, 2020 draw was purchased in the the northern Vancouver Island region but is set to expire at midnight, local time, on Mar. 18, 2021. The retail location where the winning ticket was purchased will only be announced after the winner has come forward to claim the prize.
The North Island region includes Alert Bay, Telegraph Cove, Port Hardy, Coal Harbour and Port McNeill, in addition other municipalities.
The the Guaranteed Prize Draw number can be found underneath the main set of six numbers. Tickets can be checked at anytime on the BCLC Lotto! app.
The winning numbers for the ticket are: 19117903-02.
All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date to claim their prize. Lottery tickets are valid for one year after the date of the draw.
The nationwide Lotto 6/49 draws are on Wednesdays and Saturdays after 7:30 p.m. PST. To claim a prize of this value, the individual with the winning ticket should contact BCLC customer support at 1-866-815-0222.
