“Love Is Blind”'s Nick Is Thrown Under the Bus by His Costars for Calling Hannah a 'Grenade' Behind Her Back
Nick Dorka repeatedly denied the "grenade" comment, though he was also called out by Hannah Jiles for writing down that he wanted to become "the most famous person ever on Love Is Blind" before coming on the show

Nick Dorka got put in the hot seat at the Love Is Blind season 7 reunion!
On Oct. 30, Netflix dropped the reunion special, bringing the season 7 cast back together again to hash out all their drama. For Nick, this meant reuniting with his ex-fiancée, Hannah Jiles, who took some heat in recent weeks for constantly belittling him and treating him in a "demeaning" manner.
When asked by co-hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey if she had any regrets about what she said to Nick during their brief engagement, Hannah simply insisted that she's a "very direct" and "blunt" person with her delivery.
"The things that I said were all true, but it's just the way that you say it," she said, which caught everyone in the room — aside from Nick — by surprise.
"I wouldn't have expected her to say anything less," Nick then responded, adding how he was "confused" by a lot of the things Hannah said, including claims that he was not on the same level intellectually or financially as her, and accusing him of being disrespectful towards her.
When asked to clarify once more, Hannah doubled down, saying "I'm just direct... that's inherently who I am." She then joked, "I'm just a bitch sometimes, I get it, I know!"
Hannah eventually offered an apology to Nick, saying, "I'm sorry I was so cruel to you," and acknowledged she had "room to grow" over the last year.
Later, when Nick insisted Hannah was getting "way too much hate" online, Hannah questioned why he liked the "hate" comments and the "mean things" people were writing about her on social media.
She then segued into how she found his notebook while packing up their stuff, which detailed his "90-Day Goals," which were allegedly written two weeks before he left for the pods. His goals included selling two homes, being in the best shape of his life and becoming "the most famous person ever on Love Is Blind."
This revelation — which Nick dismissed as nothing serious and said was written "way before I knew I was gonna be on the show" — led to a heated exchange between the two about his intentions to come on the show, with Marissa even getting in on the argument to defend Hannah.
"I was taking the show seriously," Nick insisted.
Hannah argued that Nick was a "very calculated person" and seemingly obsessed with fame, even allegedly telling strangers on the plane back from Mexico that they were filming a TV show and offering to fly a woman he was DM'ing out to Los Angeles for the reunion. She then pointed out that Nick wasn't entirely upfront about his feelings for her, allegedly calling her a "grenade," "ugly" and "5/10" to other cast members, but saying she was "so perfect" to cameras.
"Maybe you went in for the wrong reasons and he liked me and he wasn't expecting that... but be so f---ing for real, that's not your reality," Hannah told the real estate agent.
Though Nick repeatedly denied the "grenade" comment and claimed he "never" spoke about Hannah's appearance, other cast members — including Marissa, Monica, Stephen, Alex and Ramses — all backed Hannah and agreed that he did say that behind her back.
Monica said she knew about it because Stephen told her when they were together, while Stephen admitted, "He talked to me about the grenade, but he didn't tell me about how he actually felt... with the rating scale."
Alex called it "baffling" that Nick would deny the accusations and reiterated, "Nick, you did not like what Hannah looked like and everybody knew that." Ramses also urged Nick to "take accountability" and "keep it 100, man, things were said."
In the final moments of the heated exchange, Nick partly owned up to his words, admitting, "I said I was underwhelmed when I saw Hannah at the reveal. I never said she was a grenade."
But Marissa was not convinced. "Yes, you were wrong, you were f---ing wrong," she yelled.

After failing to see eye-to-eye on everything from household and marital responsibilities to relationship expectations, Hannah opted not to go to her bridal gown appointment with the rest of the women while Nick skipped out on his tuxedo fitting in episode 11. The two called things off shortly after, with Hannah claiming Nick was not ready to get married.
"I think for me, it just came down to: I saw my friends [with him], my family was there, and I just had a moment where I was kind of like, what am I doing?" Hannah later recalled to PEOPLE. "If I'm still seeing all these issues and I'm just being mean to this man, I feel like I'm just dogging on this man, this is probably not someone that I want to be married to. It just all came to [this] realization, we shouldn't be together."
