No one likes to run out of their favorite designer perfume. And what’s even worse is the price of replacing a name brand fragrance. Luckily, there are cheaper alternatives that smell just like their luxury counterparts. In this episode of In The Know: Duped, follow your nose with host Oneika as she shares perfume and cologne dupes that smell just as sophisticated as their pricier, designer alternatives.

When people think of perfume, they think of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle. It’s a signature scent with an ambery, orange fragrance. But at $146 a bottle, you may want to take your cents elsewhere. Fortunately, Armaf Club De Nuit will have you smelling just as scent-sational with its hint of geranium to give you that “sensual fruity vibe,” says Oneika. And at just $25, it’s a steal.

Another iconic scent is Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille. The warm and spicy unisex fragrance is a favorite amongst perfume enthusiasts. But at $285, it’s an expensive scent.

Instead, Oneika recommends the Cremo Spice & Vanilla Cologne Spray. “It’s similar to the Tom Ford perfume in that it also has vanilla notes, but it’s really sweet and romantic,” says the host. But beyond smelling delicious, the Cremo cologne is only $18!

Now that your skin is smelling good on the cheap, you want it to feel good too. A good moisturizer can cost a pretty penny, but there are less expensive alternatives that will keep your skin smooth and supple. The Postbiotic Body Lotion from mindbodygreen is a fan favorite, but at $30, it’s a little on the pricey side. Thankfully, CeraVe’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion will keep your skin smooth and hydrated at less than half the price at $11.

We’ve come a long way from the days when inexpensive perfumes came with overpowering scents. Today, there are tons of cheaper alternatives that prove you don’t need to spend a ton of money to smell good.
