M18 reopens after multi-vehicle crash
Part of the M18 in South Yorkshire has reopened after being closed for about 12 hours following a "serious" multi-vehicle collision near Rotherham.
The motorway was closed northbound between Junction 1 for Bramley and Junction 2 for the A1M at about 03:00 BST on Saturday.
National Highways said South Yorkshire Police were carrying out investigations following the collision.
Police advised drivers to avoid the area and to plan an alternative route.
The road had reopened by 16:00.
