Macy Chiasson vs. Yana Santos added to UFC Fight Night on July 1
A women’s bantamweight matchup between Macy Chiasson and Yana Santos is the latest addition to July’s UFC Fight Night event.
Chiasson (8-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Santos (14-7 MMA, 4-4 UFC) are set to meet at UFC Fight Night on July 1, which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Broadcast plans have not been revealed.
MMA Junkie verified the matchup with multiple people close to the situation, who requested anonymity because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Chiasson, 31, will look to bounce back from a rare upkick body shot knockout loss against Irene Aldana at UFC 279 in September. The Fortis MMA product is 2-2 in her past four fights but will look to begin another run toward title contention.
Santos, 33, enters the event on the first losing skid of her career. She’s dropped fights to Holly Holm and Aldana, but prior to that beat fellow contender Ketlen Vieira.
