Madison Issues Proclamation To Salute Its Heroes

MADISON, CT — In honor of the town's heroes, the Madison Board of Selectmen issued a proclamation last week, "Madison Salutes Our Heroes."

The proclamation, which coincides with a commemorative event by the Exchange Club of Madison, honors:

Victims of 9/11
Veterans
COVID Heroes
Child Abuse Prevention
Fallen and Active Military
First Responders
Canines Heroes
Every Day Heroes

Letcher County Sheriff Shawn Stines has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a Kentucky District Judge Kevin Mullins, who was killed in his chambers on Thursday, according to police.
