Maggie Gyllenhaal on womanhood at premiere of new film The Lost Daughter

Dakota Johnson, Olivia Colman, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jessie Buckley have attended the premiere of The Lost Daughter at The Royal Festival Hall on Wednesday. Maggie Gyllenhaal, for whom the film is her directorial debut, spoke about the importance of showing truthful depictions of motherhood, saying “women are born into an agreement to stay silent” about their experiences.
