A sushi restaurant in Brossard was heavily damaged by fire overnight.
Firefighters were called to the business around 1 a.m. Makita Sushi is located in a strip mall near the corner of Grande-Allée Boulevard and Bellevue Street.
The restaurant's roof was most heavily damaged.
The cause of the fire is not known, but the investigation so far does not indicate it was arson.
