A male pedestrian was taken to a trauma centre after he was hit by a vehicle at Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West early Sunday, police say.
Sgt. Kamran Saeed, spokesperson for Toronto Police Service's 12 Division, said police received the call about the accident in the intersection at 2:54 a.m.
The man, 45, was rushed to a trauma centre. His injuries were considered non-life threatening.
The vehicle remained at the scene. It is not known if police plan to lay charges.
Dan Hunter, deputy commander of Toronto Paramedic Services, said the man was in serious condition when he was transported to hospital.
