Cambridge, Ont. man killed in overnight shooting in Toronto

A Cambridge, Ont. man has died of his injuries after a shooting in Toronto early Saturday, police say.

Police identified the man as Randy Nguyen, 27. He is Toronto's 66th homicide victim of the year.

At about 1:43 a.m., officers were called to the area of Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West for reports of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found Nguyen in a car in a parking lot, suffering from several gun shot wounds.

Toronto paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.

Officers have not released any suspect information.
