Man airlifted to hospital after industrial accident in Bolton

A man has been airlifted to hospital after he was trapped in a machine at a metal fabrication business in Bolton.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to the business on Nixon Road just before 8 a.m. Thursday for an industrial accident. They found a 27-year-old man suffering from a head injury.

The worker was injured after he was trapped in some type of machinery, Peel paramedics said.

They could not immediately say what led up to the man being caught in the machine.

The man was transported by ORNGE air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
