Man Arrested After Video of Dangerous Driving Shared on Social Media
Police in New South Wales said a man was arrested after a video allegedly showing him driving in a dangerous manner in Gillieston Heights was shared on social media on December 17.
Jess Green filmed the Nissan Skyline GTR driving erratically on the Cessnock Road on Sunday morning and posted it to Facebook, where it was widely shared.
In a statement, police said the vehicle was located at 12.40 pm and the 39-year-old driver was taken to Cessnock Hospital to undergo blood and urine testing.
He was subsequently charged with driving in a dangerous manner; negligent driving; overtaking on the left; and not keeping left of the dividing line, the statement said. He was given bail to appear at Kurri Kurri Local Court on January 11, 2018. Credit: Facebook/Jess Green via Storyful
