An ongoing case of online criminal harassment has resulted in a Conception Bay South man's arrest.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested the man Wednesday and charged him with criminal harassment and defamatory libel for incidents over the last couple of months.
Few details have been released, but it's alleged the man, 44, used Facebook and phone calls to claim someone had committed serious criminal acts.
He made those allegations to the alleged victim's employer, police said.
The RNC said the harassment had been going on since early February.
He's been released to appear in provincial court in St. John's on June 8.
