Man charged with impaired driving in Parry Sound following collision

A Toronto man has been charged with impaired driving in Parry Sound following a motor vehicle collision.

West Parry Sound OPP say that they responded to the incident on Bowes Street around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25.

As a result of an investigation, police arrested and charged 54-year-old Gregory Coleman of Toronto with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, and having open alcohol outside of a licensed establishment, residence or private place.

He was given 90-day driver's license suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Coleman will appear in Parry Sound court on April 1.
