Manchester City will find out their group stage opponents for the new Champions League season this afternoon as Pep Guardiola's side look to finally break their duck in the competition.
City's quarter-final exit against Lyon last season was seen as a huge opportunity missed for a side who have under achieved in Europe despite their domestic dominance.
Guardiola has famously failed to win the Champions League since leaving Barcelona and the prize is the one major trophy missing from the Etihad's cabinet.
After finishing as runners-up to Liverpool in the Premier League last season, City have been handed a pot two seeding, meaning they could still face the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but will avoid drawing Barcelona or Atletico Madrid.
