York Regional Police have identified a man killed in a Vaughan shooting that left another man injured on Sunday.
Oshaine Channer, 29, of Peel Region, was found dead in a building on Freshway Drive.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the shooting.
Police said they were told at about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday that a man was in a Toronto hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Officers spoke to the injured man and found out the location of the shooting. When officers went to the building, they found Channer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Const. Laura Nicolle, spokesperson for the York police, said there may have been some type of gathering or party at that location.
"We're looking for anybody who might have attended that party," she said.
Nicolle said police would also like to talk to anyone who may have picked up someone from that party or saw something while driving by.
Police have no information about suspects.
