Pedestrian in his 70s dies after being struck by driver in Brampton
A man in his 70s has died after he was struck by a driver in Brampton on Thursday evening, police say.
Peel police responded to a collision on Bovaird Drive and Kennedy Road in Brampton at 6:30 p.m.
After officers arrived, the pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police announced about an hour later that the man died in hospital.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police say.
The intersection has been closed for the investigation.
