Man faces impaired charges after pickup slams into 5 cars, pole
A 63-year-old man is facing several charges after a pickup truck crashed into five parked cars and a power pole causing an outage in the area.
It happened on Sunday on Point Pelee Drive in Leamington at about 8:15 p.m.
The OPP said a pickup was driving a high speed, lost control and and slammed into five parked vehicles and a pole.
No one was injured in the crash.
There is no damage estimate.
The man is scheduled to appear in a Leamington courtroom on Sept. 16 to face the following charges:
- Drive a motor vehicle while ability impaired
- Drive a motor vehicle with blood alcohol in excess of 80 milligrams
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Fail to remain at the scene of a motor vehicle collision
