Man found dead in home in Durham Region: police

Police are appealing for the public's help after a 34-year-old man was found dead inside a home in Durham Region.

In a release Wednesday, Durham Regional Police Service said officers were called to a home in the small community of Cannington, near Shedden Street and St. John Street, on Sunday after a man was reported dead.

The victim was identified as Collin Robinson, according to the release.

Police said they don't know what caused his death and have homicide investigators on the case.

They're asking anyone with information to contact investigators or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers.

A grand jury in Massachusetts has indicted a doctor who is accused of sexually assaulting more than 200 former patients over a period of more than a decade. The patients sued Dr. Derrick Todd, who has been accused of performing unnecessary pelvic floor therapy, breast examinations, testicular examinations and other unwarranted procedures on patients dating back to 2010.
