Man killed in shooting at Upper Land Park housing complex, Sacramento police say

One man is dead after a shooting Sunday afternoon at an affordable housing complex in Upper Land Park, Sacramento police said.

Officers were called just before 1:30 p.m. to the Alder Grove apartments at Kit Carson and Revere streets for a report of a shooting, said officer Allison Smith, a spokeswoman with the Sacramento Police Department.

A man suffered at least one gunshot wound in a vehicle and died at the scene, Allison said.

Officers have not announced any arrests or information about any suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
