A man has broken the Guinness World Record for shortest bus driver - measuring 4ft 5.6 inches (136.2cm) in height.

Frank Faeek Hachem drove a regular car for more than 20 years, but in 2017 decided to take his bus driving test.

With no special modifications required for his bus, all he has to do is adjust the seat and steering wheel before setting off on his route.

Mr Hachem, from Hampshire, is just one of a group of new world record-holders revealed by Guinness with the launch of the 2021 book of records.

"Frank loves meeting different people every day and helping serve his community,” a spokesperson for Guinness World Records said.

“It's a source of pride for him, especially as a key worker in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak."

British record holders also include Marco George, who broke the record for fastest speed on a motorcycle while performing a headstand at 122.59km/h.

Luke Roberts, from Watford, broke the two rat-related records with pets Freddie and Frankie.

Mr Roberts trained his rats to complete 28 paw tricks and eight jumps through a hoop in just 30 seconds.

Living and training with Mr Roberts since they were three months old, it took six to eight weeks of nightly training to prompt each rat to perfect their respective records.

Nicknamed "the boys", the rats are now taking a break before Mr Roberts begins training them again for future records.

Record holders from around the world also include Gary Duschl from the US, who has the longest gum wrapper chain at 106,810ft, and Eva Clarke from Australia, who completed 12,003 burpees in 24 hours.
