Man rescued by Lodi officer after wheelchair got stuck on train tracks

A man was rescued by a Lodi officer Wednesday morning after the man’s wheelchair got stuck on train tracks. A Union Pacific train was heading north through downtown when it approached the man in the wheelchair. A Lodi officer on patrol in the area saw what was happening and pulled the man to safety. It was such a close call that the man’s leg was hit by the passing train. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Get the full story in the video above.
