Man rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being pulled from Etobicoke house fire

A man has been rushed to hospital by paramedics in an emergency run after being pulled from a house fire in Etobicoke Monday. 

Toronto Fire Services says they were called to a house fire on Hatfield Crescent just after 5 p.m.

When crews arrived, flames and smoke were visible from outside the home.

Toronto police say a man was pulled from the burning house. 

He was treated by paramedics and his injuries are considered life-threatening.

Fire crews now have the flames under control.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and the Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been notified.

Toronto Fire Services says six trucks and 30 firefighters responded to the call.
