Man stops for oil change, gets arrested for impaired driving

A man showed up for an oil change in Barrie, Ont., this weekend and ended up being charged with impaired driving.

Barrie police say they got a call at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, about a customer at an oil-change business. The driver was possibly impaired, police were told.

A responding officer placed the man under arrest.

The driver was taken to a police station where he provided breath samples, which police say showed a blood-alcohol level that was above the legal limit.

A 31-year-old man now faces two impaired-related charges.

The charges have not been proven in court.
