A man has turned himself in to police in connection to a brazen robbery where he allegedly stole the cash register from a Labrador convenience store.
RCMP said the 35-year-old told them he was responsible for the robbery at Sweet Convenience in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on April 3.
Police previously said someone entered the store and demanded staff give him cash, and then stole the cash register with money inside.
The man called police on Friday, after they released surveillance photos of the crime.
He's been charged with robbery and wearing a mask with intent. He is being held for a provincial court appearance later Friday.
